Folios 193-194: John Lampen Manley, HMS Badger, Hamoaze. Covering letter for the enclosed letter from Mr George Debus, Purser of HMS Badger applying for promotion to a larger vessel.
Folios 195-196: enclosure with folios 193-194. Letter dated 4 March 1811 by George Debus - Purser, HMS Badger., Hamoaze, to the Admiralty. States having served six years in the Navy half of which as Purser of HMS Badger. He requests promotion to a larger vessel.
