Description

Folios 154-155: Donald M'Leod [Donald MacLeod], Regulating Officer, Liverpool. Reply to letter dated 20 February 1811. He states that (1) James Naiford alias James McFall entered with Lieutenant Henry Raye on 11 January 1811 as a Boy Volunteer aged 15 born in Belfast. He positively denied being an apprentice. (2) Thomas Fenwich was impressed by Lieutenant Henry Raye on 11 February 1811 aged 23 born in New Brunswick. He said he came here in the Borothers, has been five years as sea and had a strong Scotch accent. (3) James Evans entered with Lieutenant Henry Raye on 16 February 1811 as a Boy Volunteer aged 16 born in Liverpool. He positively denied being an apprentice.

Folios 156-157: enclosure with folios 154-155. Letter dated 18 February 1811 by John Davies, Rope Maker, [?] Street, Liverpool to the Admiralty. Requests the discharge of his apprentice James Mackord, now on HMS Princess.

Folios 158-159: enclosure with folios 154-155. Letter dated 13 February 1811 by Thomas Fennick, HMS Princess, to the Admiralty. Request to be discharged.

Folios 160-161: enclosure with folios 154-155. Letter dated 13 February 1811 by Andrew Davison, Ranelagh Place, Liverpool, to the Admiralty. Requests his apprentice James Evans and now on HMS Princess be discharged.
