Folios 129-130: Donald M'Leod, Regulating Officer, Liverpool. Advises that John P. Weith, alias Abraham Lowe was impressed by Lieutenant Evans on 19 September and was born in Gothenburg. He was taken based upon information that he had deserted from HMS Ramillies that his real name is Abraham Lowe and he produced the enclosed certificate originally dated 1803, since altered to 1810.
Folio 131: enclosed with folios 129-130. Certificate dated 24 February 1810 by John Church, Swedish Consul for Cork and Kinsale. Certifies that John [Weith?] is a Swedish subject who is proceeding on lawful business and is not to be interrupted.
