Folios 273-274: Alexander Milner, 56 George Street, Plymouth Dock. Due to his poor health, he was subpoenaed, but unable to attend the trial of a smuggler on the 3rd, in the Court of the Exchequer. Dr Beatty, Physician of the Fleet, recommends that the Captain is relieved for another month from the command of the Swallow and an extension of leave is requested. Dr Beatty's letter is enclosed.
Folio 275: enclosure with folios 273-274. Letter dated 5 June 1808 by William Beatty Physician to the Channel Fleet, to the Admiralty, States that the Captain's condition requires another months leave in order to restore hs health.
