Folios 258-259: George Miller, London. He encloses a letter from Lieutenant Sotheby from HMS Thetis.
Folios 260-261: enclosure with folios 258-259. Letter dated 12th February 1808 by Lieutenant Charles Sotheby to the Admiralty. Asks for permission to leave HMS Thetis to join [Sir A. Bale?] Flag ship at Malta. [Sir A. Bale's?] offer of Flag Lieutenant came in a letter last February, but not read until the Thetis returned to England.
