Folios 254-257: George Miller, HMS Thetis, Downes. He has arrived with the convoy having left the Madeira ships at that place and waited for the two delayed Indiamen. He gives details for the rest of the voyage, baffling winds and becoming aground, subsequent repairs and delivery of letters addressed to Sir Edward Jellow with the Commander of the William Pitt. Captain Miller cruised around St. Helena to check for enemy vessels. There was a wait for the convoy from China Captain Baker of HMS Jupiter and Captain Miller put himself under orders from Captain Baker.
