Folios 235-236: Robert Mends, HMS Arethusa, at sea. Sends information of sighting a Lugger steering for France while off Aldeney and bringing her too. This was a vessel belonging to [General Ernest French Privateer?] of Calais. Her Captain was Jacques Antoine de Bpoulogne and she had 16 guns and 58 men and had 15 years of success. It was fortunate she was taken by the Arethusa and will make a fine vessel for HM's service.
