Folios 565-566: Robert Mends, Regulating Officer, Liverpool. Replies to the letter to Captain Colquitt of 13 [August 1807] stating that Henry Dale was impressed by Lieutenant Keys on 26 [July 1807] as an Ordinary aged 26. He said he was a native of America but had no Protection except a Sea Fencible ticket.
Folios 567-568: enclosure with folios 565-567. Letter dated 10 August 1807 from Ann Dale, at Mr Stanton's, 5 Ditons Slip, Liverpool, to the Lords of the Admiralty. Her husband Henry Dale has for years been a Boatman for her family's support. He has been impressed on board HMS Princess. Asks to provide one able bodied Landman as a substitute.
