Folios 305-306: Edward Lyon, Londonderry. Reports on the case of John McCafferty on His Majesties hired tender Hope. McCafferty joinded the ship on 13 November 1810 and appears to be about 17 years of age. Since his entry McCafferty has not shown any symptons whatsoever of convulsions.
Folios 307-308: enclosure with folios 305-306. Letter dated 19 November 1810 by Charles McCafferty. Asks for the discharge of his son, John McCafferty, due to his medical health.
Folio 309: enclosure with folios 305-306. Statement dated 16 November 1810 signed by Thomas Scott, Mayor of Londonderry and countersigned by Charles McCafferty (father) and Catherine McNully (grandfather). Asks for the discharge John McCafferty, due to his convulsions.
