Description

Folios 223-224: Samuel Hood Linzee, HMS Dreadnought, Causand Bay. Requests that Joseph Fisher, Gunner of HMS Triumph, be appointed in the place of J McPhiel, Gunner of HMS Dreadnought, in consequence of old age and infirmities.

Folio 225: enclosure with folios 223-224. List of Gunners in third rates ships - candidates for promtion: William watt, HMS Thunderer; James Stevenson, HMS Bellerophon; Samuel Gooderham, HMS Goliath; John Sanders, HMS Agincourt; Henry Piper, HMS Revenge; Joseph Fisher, HMS Triumph; James Hoskin, late of HMS Dragon acting in HMS Formidable.
