Reports having sailed from Lisbon on 9 June 1809 with HMS Ganges, HMS Zealous and HMS Dotterell in order to intercept the enemy ships Polonais and Courageux on their passage to France. Refers to the enclosed log [not present] and describes the routes taken. As ordered by Admiral George Berkeley he has dispatched HMS Ganges to England with some unfit men.
