Description

Folios 184-185: James Lecky, Killalla.

Writes concerning Lieutenant Weld who has incurred expenses in joining the signal tower at Crevogh which is now ordered to be dismantled. Lecky recommends him for active service.

Folios 186-187: enclosure with folios 184-185. Daniel Weld, Killalla, County of Mayo, Ireland, 7 October 1809.

Asks for employment and states that he could recruit man suitable young men for the service.
