Folios 183-184: David Lloyd, Sea Fencibles, Boston. Reply to your letter addressed to Lieutenant George Barnard late of the Sea Fencibles on the Lincolnshire Coast. He reports his being unfit for Sea Service and encloses a certificate from the Surgeon who has been caring for him.
Folios 185: enclosure with folios 183-184. Certificate that Lieutenant George Barnard is unfit for Sea Service, signed J W Davis, Surgeon, Boston, dated 27 May 1805.
