Folios 166-167: William Granville Lobb, HMS Pomone, Cascais Bay off the Rock of Lisbon. States that HMS Curieux and HMS Star coming from England each short of a Lieutenant and the Commanders requesting he would appoint Acting ones, having new Ships Companies to train. He has ordered the Mates of HMS Pomone Mr Senhouse and Mr Muir to fill the vacancies till other are appointed. Mr Muir was dismissed by a Court Martial and is the person you directed him on 4 September 1805 to report on his conduct, which has been universally correct. He came with him at the request of Admiral John Bazely.
