Description

Folios 135-136: William Granville Lobb, HMS Pomone, at Sea. States in consequence of the enclosed he has given directions for His Majesty's Ships under his orders, to grant protection to all vessels, belonging to the King of Sweden; and to issue instructions to the Masters, making application for the same; that wish to join our Convoys., and hope their lordships will approve.

Folios 137-138: enclosure with folios 135-136. Letter dated 10 December 1805 by J Gambier, Lisbon, to William Granville Lobb, HMS Pomone. Covering letter for the enclosed.

Folios 139-140: enclosure with folios 137-138. Letter dated 10 December 1805 by F A Kantzon, Swedish Consul, Lisbon to J Gambier, His Britannic Majesty's Consul General, Lisbon. Letter requesting permission for Swedish to join and receive the protection of the Royal Navy's Convoys.
