Folios 123-124: William Granville Lobb, HMS Pomone, off the Burlings. Reports that he yesterday spoke [to] HMS L'Aimable [HMS Aimable] off the Rock and was informed by Captain [The Hon.] Duncombe Pleydall Bouverie that on the 10 October 1805 at [position stated] in sight of the land he unfortunately fell in with a Squadron of the Enemy, consisting of Five Sail of the Line, one a three Deck Ship, and is very apprehensive most of the Convoy bound to Oporto are captured by them; those for Lisbon, had parted company without Signal early on the same morning and he has every reason to suppose are arrived safe; as several vessels went in yesterday. [Total of two plus sides, mentions:-] HMS Agamemnon, Vice Admiral Lord Horatio Nelson [1st Baron Nelson of the Nile and of Hilborough], Admiral William Cornwallis, HMS Constance Cape Finisterre, HMS Dryad.
