Folios 28-28A: enclosure with folios 26-27. Letter dated 10 January 1805 by Woodley Losack, HMS Helena, Cork Harbour, to the Admiralty. States Mr William Delahant - Purser of HMS Helena having Run from her on 2 December 1804 in consequence he gave Mr James Loudon (who has served as Clerk since 1 May 1803) as order to Act as Purser at Sea on 22 December 1804 and as he has done his duty in every respect to his satisfaction. Requests ne be granted the appointment as Purser of HMS Helena.
