Folios 16-17: William Luke, Sea Fencibles, Falmouth. Reply to letter dated 30 January 1805 enclosing an extract of one from Mr Dennis of Penzance to their Lordships, relating to erecting a Signal Station at St Ives. He states that this would be a good idea. To do what he looks like he is suggestion would take three or four additional Signal Stations. He recommends better telescopes than those currently supplied at Tregonning Hill, Tetter-dien [Tetterdien] and the Lizard on account of the distance between those places.
