Folios 270-271: John Wentworth Loring, HMS Bellerophon, Portsmouth Harbour. States Lieutenant L [George Lawrence] Saunders of HMS Bellerophon having informed him that his agent tells him that he is not confirmed to the vacancy in which he was put by Rear Admiral Sir John Thomas Duckworth on 26 December 1802 - which was that of Captain Jennings of HMS Camel Store Ship who was dismissed from the Service by sentence of a Court Martial. The First Lieutenant of HMS Leviathan Mr Burton was promoted to the Command of HMS Camel and Mr Sarnders to the vacancy of Lieutenant Burton to HMS Leviathan. He requests his case be represented to the Admiralty who has served after entering the service with him in HMS Proselyte in 1896 [1796].
