Folios 235-236: Walter Lock, Sea Fencibles, Berwick upon Tweed. Covering letter for the enclosed [not present] General Return of the Sea Fencibles enrolled in this District. States he received their order of the 6 September 1804 and have sent a copy to the Captains under his command, to inform him as soon as possible the number of men they discharge. If he understands properly they allude only to such Sea Fencibles who have actually been employed onboard of ships, not to the fishermen who have never been at Sea - Captain Edward Ramage has stated to him that two young men fishermen aged seventeen wishes to be enrolled in his District, if it meets their Lordships approbation.
