Description

Folios 355-356: Arthur Kaye Legge, HMS Repulse, Woolwich. Advises he proceeded on board HMS Hindostan with Captain John Astley Bennett and Surgeons from HMS Repulse and HMS Matilda and examined 4 men according to the enclosed report.

Folio 357: enclosed with folios 355-356. Survey dated 20 September 1803 by Captain Arthur Kaye Legge, HMS Repulse, Captain John Astley Bennett, HMS Hermes, J Gardiner, Surgeon, HMS Matilda and L Godfrey, Surgeon, HMS Repulse. Advises that 4 Supernumeraries, Thomas Brown, Joshua Berry, Thomas Jackson and Robert Balden, serving on board HMS Hindostan deemed fit to be surveyed for invaliding from HMS Windsor Castle, late HMS Victorious.
