Folios 345-346: Edwin James, HMS Swallow, Marazion. Responding to Admiralty letter of 5 August with a list of the ship's petty officers. Explains that he received Lord Exmouth's order on 26 June 1814 whilst at Leghorn, brought by the Caledonia's tender, Lieutenant Bates, and replied immediately by the same vessel which they do not seem to have received - the list he sends now is a copy of that.
Folio 347: enclosure with folios 345-346. List names Mr Henry Thomas, Mate, and comments that he was both competent and diligent. Also two midshipmen, not named.
