Folios 334-335: William Rush Jackson, HMS Briseis, in Hamoaze. Enclosing a letter from Lieutenant George Palmer requesting to be re-appointed to Briseis as Second Lieutenant, and asking that the request may be complied with.
Folios 336-337: enclosure with folios 334-335. Letter dated 25 September 1815 by Lieutenant George Palmer, HMS Briseis, Hamoaze. Having been turned down as having insufficient seniority to be appointed First Lieutenant, Palmer requests that he may be appointed Second Lieutenant superseding Lt Wybergh, who has applied to leave to reestablish his health, and failing that to be appointed as Second on another vessel.
