Folios 161-162: Richard Gaire Janverin, Hull Rendezvous. Cover letter for his account of men raised at the rendezvous from the time of his arrival, 4 May, apart from the number raised by the gang [not now present]. Adds that a letter from Sir Charles Rowley, Commander-in-Chief at the Nore, had informed him that orders had been sent to Captain John Gedge, of HMS Cadmus, to sail for Hull, to receive the raised men on board, but says no vessel has yet arrived and he is therefore prevented from continuing to impress men due to lack of means to secure them.
