Folios 203-204: Frederick Paul Irby, HMS Amelia, off Torbay. Report the arrival of HMS Amelia at this Port as per Orders dated 6 December 1808 and to put myself under the Command of Admiral the Right Honourable Lord James Gambier and perceiving his Lordship is not in the Bay, he will proceed to join the Fleet off Ushant providing he finds there are no orders left by his Lordship for him.
