Folios 201-202: Frederick Paul Irby, HMS Amelia, Spithead. As ordered by Admiral Sir Charles Cotton Bart. he reports the arrival of HMS Amelia at this anchorage with Lieutenant General Sir Harry Burrard Bart. and Suite having sailed from Lisbon on 19 November 1808. He also informs that he brought home under confinement Mr John Sutherland, Master of the Transport Brig Friends B.B. charged with the Murder of Richard Wilson a Boy belonging to the said Brig and have forwarded by the Port the Papers relative to the transaction as well as four other letters he received from Admiral Sir Charles Cotton.
