Folios 197-198: Frederick Paul Irby, HMS Amelia, Falmouth. As directed he states the case of David Johnstone. This man was sent with a Draft of men from HMS Namur on 11 April 1808. He was taken from the Collier Brig Margaret - John Frost Master, on 19 February 1808 by the Officer of the Impress at Shields, was sent as Impressed on board HMS Namur at the Nore and is 26 years old.
Folios 199-200: enclosure with folios 197-198. Letter dated 27 September 1808 by Isabella Christie, North Shields, to the Admiralty. She wishes to be able to provide substitutes for her Son David Johnston now on HMS Amelia.
