Folios 244-245: Samuel Jackson, HMS Mosquiito [Musquito], Yarmouth Roads. Replies to enquiry of 28 June [1805] to state the case of George Steele. he was impressed having been 5 and a half years at sea and appears more than 18 years of age. He was nearly out of his apprenticeship but since then he has entered voluntarily and his name has been included in the Bounty list.
Folios 246-247: enclosure with folios 244-245. Letter dated 27 June 1805 from John Knight to John Burrow, Admiralty. He has been requested to apply for the discharge of George Steele, a youth under 18, who was impressed a few days ago out of the Elizabeth and Sarah of N[orth] Shields and carried on board HMS Muscatto [Musquito] in the Humber. He had protection according to an Act of Parliament not to impress until 18 years of age.
