Folios 222-223: Samuel Jackson, HMS Mosquiito [Musquito], Yarmouth Roads. Replies to enquiry of 22 June [1805] to state the case of William Howard belonging to the Sea Fencibles at Aldborough. He was impressed on his directions as he had never met Sea Fencibles employed in the coasting trade. he did not know that they were allowed to leave the place they were enrolled to go to sea in the coasting trade.
Folios 224-225: enclosure with folios 222-223. Letter dated 21 June 1805 from William Edge, Sea Fencibles, Aldborough, to John Barrow, Admiralty. William Howard, a Sea Fencible belonging to Woodbridge has been impressed by HMS Musquito from a coasting vessel off Sunderland. He has only one eye and met the description of men he was to enroll according to orders of 6 September 1804. Asks for his discharge.
