Folios 325-326: George Irwin, Regulating Officer, Deal. Is sending a letter from Lieutenant John Robileau [Ribouleau] giving reasons for impressing William Mummery from the Nimble Revenue cutter at Dover. Men employed by the hired armed cutters are constantly running away to other cutters. The Lieutenant commanding the cutters has often applied to have their deserters impressed which he has done as far has he could but the Masters often get them clear.
Folios 327-328: enclosure with folios 325-326. Letter dated 26 April 1804 by John Robileau [Ribouleau], Impressment Service Dover. Mr Andrews of the Nimble Revenue cutter has written about the impressment of William Mummery. Lieutenant Gibbons of HMS King George 111 told him that this man was a deserter and was now aboard the Nimble so he considered it his duty to impress him.
