Folio 303: George Irwin, Regulating Officer, Deal. Is sending a copy of the letter on March 8 1804 asking for the discharge of James Woore and John Smith.
Folio 304: enclosure with folio 303. Letter dated 8 March 1804 by George Irwin, Deal. James Woore and John Smith, ticket men have been impressed by HMS Amelia, Captain Lord John Proby at Sheerness and have always come forward when wanted to go in lieu of impressed men. He asks that they are discharged as they will be of use in making others come forward when wanted.
