Folios 276-277: George Irwin, Regulating Officer, Deal. No one called John Adams has been impressed here as set forth in Mr Knight's letter.
Folios 278-279: enclosure with folios 276-277. Letter dated 2 March 1804 by John Knight, London. Thomas Forrest, Owner of the Ceres asks for the discharge of John Adams impressed at Deal on 27 February 1804. He is aged 17 and a copy of his baptism was sent when he applied for protection as underage.
