Folios 272-273: George Irwin, Regulating Officer, Deal. He has ordered Lieutenant Henry Dawe from the Margate Rendezvous to go to Whitstable to impress the three men mentioned in letter of 24 February 1804 but he could not find them.
Folios 274-275: enclosure with folios 272-273. Letter dated 1 March 1804 by Harry Dawe, Margate Rendezvous, to George Irwin. Has received the letter of 24 February 1804 ordering someone to go to Whitstable to impress William Graves, Henry Lott and William Lott. He went by coach but found no trace of them, neither had Captain Prevast and Lieutenant Anderson of the Sea fencibles see them in the last two weeks. He assumes they left once they found they could not get Sea Fencible protection.
