Folio 208: Richard Jones, Sea Fencibles, Swansea. Is sending a letter from Lieutenant Sawyer of the Pontyn division. He recommends Sawyer and says without his diligence the smugglers would never have been caught and their depot and cellars discovered.
Folio 209: enclosure with folio 208. Letter dated 15 April 1804 by [Jason] Sawyer, to Richard Jones Sea Fencibles, Swansea. On Friday, he went with Francis Bevan Customs House at Oxwich with Sea Fencibles to High Way where cellars were discoved full of spirits along with 400 anchors [of spirits]. He commends his men.
