Folios 403-404: George Irwin, Regulating Officer, Deal. Covering letter for the enclosed letter received from Francis Cobb Esq, Deputy Mayor of Margate, as the order to Impress from all Protections is still in force He requests instructions as to how he is to act respect the Deputy Mayors request.
Folios 405-406: enclosure with folios 403-404. Letter dated 24 November 1803 by Francis Cobb, Deputy Mayor, Margate, to George Irwin, Regulating Officer, Deal. In the Petition from the Owners and Masters of Fishing Boats to the Admiralty in May 1803 it was requested that Tickets might be granted to them for the Fishing Season. He request that Lieutenant Henry Dawe be directed to renew their Tickets.
