Folios 345-346: George Irwin, Regulating Officer, Deal. He reports that William Aggar a Ticketman belonging to Deal, Employed on Service, with seven others on board the Latona West Indiaman in lieu of eight men Impressed from her at the Downs was pressed by the Lieutenant of HMS Zebra Bomb [Vessel] in the Latona passage up the River. Likewise Stephen Dodd a Ticketman belonging to Dover, boarded on board the Brig Sophia of Guernsey in lieu of a man Impressed from her in Dover Roads was pressed by an Officer belonging to HMS Carysfort and put on HMS Zealand. Request an order for their discharge.
