Folios 320-321: George Irwin, Regulating Officer, Deal. Report that the two Galleys and one large Boat of 32 feet Employed on the Impress service, that being ordered to take off the recovered Men from the Royal Hospital, Dispatches occasionally to the Senior Officer, and many other Calls on [the] Service, we find the boats at present employed are not equal to the business. He requests an Order to the Navy Board to supply another Boat of 32 feet and to give an order to Mr Lawrance to Pay the Hire of an extra boat employed in Impressing Men from the East and West India Men on the 27 May 1803 and 28 May 1803.
