Folios 310-311: George Irwin, Regulating Officer, Deal. He reports that Robert Dawson Impressed out of the Jane of Bridlington at Margate by Lieitenant Samuel Price Learey had no kind of Protection, he is a fine young man, his Mastere Mr Edward Davison said he had been only one voyage in the Jane and likewise the young man afterwards said he had been more that two years in the Vessel, he is now serving as a voluntier Ordinary Seaman on HMS Minerva.
Folios 312-313: enclosure with folios 310-311. Certifacate of Edward Davison, sworn before Daniel Williams JP. On 17 May 1803. States that Robert Davison was Baptised on Sixth Day of January 1789 and is not yet fifteen years old.
