Folios 298-299: George Irwin, Regulating Officer, Deal. Covering letter for the enclosed [not present] a return of the number of men procured for His Majesty's Fleet by the Lieutenants under his orders between 1 May 1803 and 8 May 1803. He reports that there are a number of Ticket men among the persons Pressed last night and put on board HMS L'Minerva [HMS Minerva] and HMS Ranger. He request and order for them to be discharged as he find a difficulty in getting men to go up in the Sir Edward Hughes Indiamen who has had her men Impressed in the Channel by HMS Caroline and HMS Diamond.
