Folios 241-242: Jonathan Joyce, HMS Discovery (Bomb [Vessel]), Nore. Reply to letter dated 9 July 1803 respecting James Aspley, Rope Maker. He informs he was pressed on shore, in a Sailors Dress, and he would give no account of himself more than that he had never been to sea, had he said he belonged to the Rope Yard he would not have kept him. He returns the Letter & Petition [not present].
