Folios 227-228: Jonathan Joyce, HMS Discovery (Bomb [Vessel]), Woolwich. States the Boatswain of HMS Mutine, Mr Charles Fisher was appointed to HMS Discovery on 28 May 1803 and has not joined or been heard from and Mr James Fakeley Boatswain of HMS Volcano is desiring to join HMS Discovery and is on the spot. Likewise the Purser Mr Joseph Davie was surveyed and found unfit. He is only raising this as [Rear Admiral] Sir Thomas Troubridge told him to speak to them.
