Folios 229-230: Bendall Robert Littlehales, HMS Centaur, Hamoaze. He hopes his request for a launch will be met.
Folio 231: enclosure with folios 229-230. Letter dated 14 August 1801 by Bendall Robert Littlehales, HMS Centaur, Ushant. The launch aboard was built as an experiment for HMS Ville de Paris and is too heavy for the tackles so is dangerous to get in the water although Captain Markham kept it so he asks for a better launch.
