Folios 425-426: J. M. Lewis, HMS Snake, off Havre. He has sent the Duchess of Ghent Cutter with the packet. The ships in Havre are in their dismantled state except one whose topmasts are rigged. He has not been able to identify her. The fishermen who bought the packet mentions a number of gunboats that made their escape while ago under the cover of night to the [Monde?]. He suggests 2 or 3 cutters or Schooners might serve at the station.
