Folios 218-219: Joseph Larcom, HMS Hind, Torbay. Following orders he sailed from Spithead on the 9 [January 1798] with the Brothers and the Lively merchant ships under his convoy. Last night the wind changed so he put in there and as soon as the wind is fair he will proceed to execute his orders.
