Folios 180-181: Charles Henry Lane, Plymouth. Receipt of letter of 3 [November 1798] with a list of Irish which he is to discover. He has applied to Sir Richard King to direct the Commanders of any of the ships that arrive from Ireland to report to him immediately the names and qualities of all Irish who may have been captured on board any of the enemy's ships in order that he may go on board and examine them. It would be helpful to have a description of those persons named on the list.
