Folios 561-562: Thomas Louis, HMS Minotaur, St Helens. Replies to the Admiralty letter regarding his Carronades. He is perfectly happy with the way they can be used, and he has solved the problem of the wadding catching fire by using wooden wads. Postscript. Encloses [not present] Captain John Markham's letter as requested.
