Folios 495-496: Charles Lock, HMS Inspector, Yarmouth Roads. Acknowledges the letter enclosing one from First Lieutenant John Worrall to Captain John Williamson of HMS Agincourt about his arrest and threatened court martial. Explains that, as he is under the orders of Admiral Adam Duncan, he wrote to the Admiral in the first instance to request the court martial, encloses [not present] a copy of that letter.
Folios 497-498: enclosure with folios 495-496. Letter dated 3 November 1797 from Commander Charles Lock, HMS Inspector, Yarmouth Roads, to the Admiralty. Requests a court martial on First Lieutenant John Worrall for disobeying his orders on several occasions and for neglect of duty.
Folios 499-500: enclosure with folios 495-496. Letter dated 28 October 1797 from First Lieutenant John Worrall, HMS Inspector, Yarmouth Roads, to Captain John Williamson, HMS Agincourt, senior officer at Yarmouth. Reports he has been under arrest for the last eight days but is not aware of having disobeyed any orders. Requests a court martial to clear his name.
