Folios 492-493: Charles Lock, HMS Inspector, Yarmouth Roads. Reports he has received orders from Admiral Adam Duncan to cruise off the Norfolk coast. Encloses the results of a survey of his rigging which means he cannot sail today.
Folio 494: enclosure with folios 492-493. Results of a survey dated 28 October 1797 on the rigging of HMS Inspector ordered by Admiral Adam Duncan, HMS Agincourt, and signed by [signature illegible], HMS Beaulieu; George Stephenson, HMS L' Espiegle, and Thomas Fetheringham, HMS Braakel [HMS Brakel].
