Folios 461-462: Charles Lock, HMS Inspector, Tynemouth Harbour. Reports that when he arrived the previous day, he found the King's moorings occupied by two vessels which were fitting out as Armed Vessels, the Prince William, James Nicholson, Master, and the Lord Hood, Harp Pringle, Master. He ordered them to vacate the moorings, which they refused. Lieutenant Peter Kelly of the Impress Service at North Shields had given the two vessels permission to use the moorings. Asks for directions.
