Folios 511-512: William Luke, HMS Caroline, Spithead. Reply to letter dated 22 March 1796 inclosing [not present] a letter from Messrs Baggs at Lynn requesting the discharge of Joseph Seakins, John Berry and John Watts who were impressed from their Ships in the Humber. Informs that Joseph Seakins was impressed from the Ship Stradest on account of his insolent behaviour to the Officer on his duty, John Berry and John Watts were impressed from the Snow Hammond but as they could not then produce any protections there were brought on board and immediately entered and have since received His Majesty's Bounty. He returns Messrs Baggs letter [not present].
